The Health Federation of Philadelphia Young Child and Parent Project will provide evidence-based interventions, cross-systems collaboration, and training in two areas of Pennsylvania with severe substance use and child welfare challenges.
Clinical interventions for YCPP2 will combine Mothering from the Inside Out and Child Parent Psychotherapy (MIO-CPP) with certified recovery specialist services. These services will be offered to families enrolled in residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment services.
Target Population: Individuals who are pregnant or parenting who are enrolled in residential substance use disorder treatment in Philadelphia and Bucks counties and whose children, ages 0-5, are at risk of or receiving child welfare services (including prevention or in-home services).
