It's National Health Center Week 2025, and community health centers throughout the state and country are celebrating the occasion with a wide variety of events. Check out the National Health Center Week website for up-to-date information on events submitted by Pennsylvania community health centers.
PHMC Health is hosting events at its five Federally Qualified Health Centers from Aug. 4-8, including health screenings, information about insurance plans, nutrition and cooking demonstrations, fire safety education and more.
Berks Community Health Center will be celebrating Community Days on Wednesday, Aug. 6, and Saturday, Aug. 9 at its Oakbrook and Penn Street locations in Reading, offering free music, fun, refreshments, giveaways and more.
Community Health & Dental Care will be hosting K-12 students and their parents/guardians for Fuel for School at the CHDC Barto office on Thursday, Aug. 7, and on Friday, Aug. 8 will hold the free Community Health Fair at CHDC - The Shoppes at Coventry in Pottstown.
ChesPenn Health Services is providing raffle tickets to all patients and community members who walk into its offices between Aug. 4 and Aug. 8, with the winner chosen on the eighth, to celebrate National Health Center Week.
The grand opening of Centerville Clinics’ Washington Office Pharmacy is slated for Monday, Aug. 4., and an event celebrating the relocation and groundbreaking of the new Centerville Clinics Donora Family Medicine Office is on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
Valley Health Partners Community Health Center at Easton in South Side is hosting a summer reading event on Tuesday, Aug. 5, and also on Aug. 5, the Health Fair at the Poconos is planned for VHP Pediatrics-Plaza Court Care in East Stroudsburg.
Star Community Health is hosting a Community Carnival on Saturday, Aug. 9, at its Sigal Center site in Allentown.
