DVCH is seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) who will work with all our leaders and report directly to the President and CEO. The CHRO is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the
organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, organizational and performance management, learning and development, compensation, and benefits. The CHRO provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the
executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.
Develops organizational strategy for recruiting and retaining talent to fulfill the organizational needs.
Evaluates future talent gaps and develops strategic plan to meet future needs.
Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
Develops, recommends, and implements revisions to wage and salary program to respond to the market, recruiting and retention issues.
Establishes the wage and salary structure for all positions within the organization and makes recommendations to the President and Chief Executive Officer concerning the implementation of the wage and salary program.
Develops, negotiates, implements competitive benefit packages to employees.
Develops, recommends, and implements changes to existing Human Resources Guidelines Manual.
Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision.
Develop dashboard reports covering key HR metrics, including issues such as benefits costs, diversity, compensation, and promotions.
Qualifications, Education, and Knowledge:
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Certification in human resources through HRCI or SHRM preferred.
5 years prior comprehensive leadership experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting, is required.
Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills are required.
Prior experience with Dayforce HCM preferred.
