Natalie Levkovich, longtime Chief Executive Officer of the Health Federation of Philadelphia, has been honored with the Unsung Hero Award from SEAMAAC, one of the oldest and largest refugee-founded agencies in the Philadelphia region.
SEAMAAC’s 40th Anniversary Gala is on May 15 at 6 p.m. at the American Swedish Historical Museum. Event and ticket information can be found here.
“I am deeply honored by this recognition and hope to see many dear friends and colleagues at this event to celebrate SEAMAAC,” Levkovich said.
“Based on a passion for equity and a commitment to nurturing strong and trusted relationships, Natalie has built an extensive network of collaborators and leveraged their collective expertise to build system level capacity to advance population health goals,” SEAMAAC stated on its website in announcing the honor. “Her impact can be seen in diverse programmatic areas that include maternal child health, trauma-informed practice, integration of behavioral health in primary care, management of chronic and infectious health conditions, promotion of workforce development and dissemination of best practices.
“HFP is known locally, nationally and internationally as an innovative, mission-driven organization and a trusted partner, a reputation that has been earned under Natalie’s leadership,” SEAMAAC stated. “Throughout the course of her career, Natalie has demonstrated exceptional strategic, relational, pragmatic and inclusive leadership skills. She has built a solid foundation of organizational integrity and growth at HFP.”
SEAMAAC has been a leading organization in providing education, social, and health services to individuals and families in the Philadelphia area for the past 40 years.
Levkovich has served on numerous advisory committees and governing boards, including the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars program, as Chair of the Advisory Committee for the National Center for Behavioral Health Integration, as Board President of Collaborative Family Healthcare Association, Board Chair of South Philly East Health and Wellness, Board Chair of Health Care Improvement Foundation, founding member of the Valentine Foundation’s Leadership Fund, member of the Edna G. Kynett Foundation Board, and long-term former Board member of First Hospital Foundation (currently known as Philadelphia Health Partnership).
