AETC to hold conference on the HIV care continuum

The Pennsylvania/Mid-Atlantic AIDS Education and Training Center is planning a two-day conference in Gettysburg, PA titled, The HIV Care Continuum: Meeting challenges in prevention, treatment, and supportive services on June 3 and 4, 2015.

This two-day conference will bring together HIV faculty to provide a review of current and emerging issues in providing care to persons with HIV throughout the care continuum. Clinical experts will discuss current issues for the HIV care team on HIV treatment, prevention with MSM, PrEP, findings from 2015 CROI meeting, hepatitis C, funding for ART, clinical practice and agency transformation and more. The second day will be specifically tailored for HIV care team members providing medical case management. There will be roundtable discussions for Ryan White Programs, community health centers and community organizations.

This program is aimed at providing improved knowledge and skills for physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, administrators, social workers, case managers, and other members of the HIV treatment team.
